Anatomy Study. Studying composition and environments, it looks horrible, but I might upload some tomorrow anyway :)

Sketch-of-the-Day #3

Value study trying to create depth and contrast never use fully black or fully white. The Darkest value is 20% and the lightest is 80%. It's actually pretty fun, because you start having to think a little more about how to make your contrast work :)

Scarlett Johansson Portrait Study

Longer study, ended up taking too much of my time, so I stopped here so I can go back to doing shorter studies :) I always end up hating the longer studies, whenever I get to a certain point I start seeing all the mistakes. I'm just happy that I can see improvement.

Shortcuts are temporary, especially when it comes to learning. My shortcut was not doing hand studies, and it's finally caught up to me. Will have to do tons of these now :)
